As a manager, the development of your people is top on your list of responsibilities. In this series of 4 micro courses (all built in Articulate Rise 360), you will learn about the importance of (and techniques for) connecting an employee’s personal and life goals with effective job performance. You will gain an understanding of the importance of making connections with your employees, as well as how your team fits in and contributes to the overall goals and objectives of your organization.
Once you have a good understanding of your people and the connections between your department and the overall organization, you can schedule development planning meetings with your employees. You will learn how to prepare for these meetings and even receive worksheets to guide you and your employees through the process.
Finally, you will gain the skills you need to plan for and run a development planning follow-up meeting.
Upon completion of this series, you will be able to:
